Georgia Sheepshead Fishing on the offshore reefs. Huge Sheepshead flock to the nearshore/offshore reefs off coastal Georgia to spawn in the months of March and April. This can be some of the most exciting light tackle sheepshead fishing in the USA. Record size sheepshead are caught here in Georgia regularly. Fishing for Sheepshead on the reefs is still a quiet fishery and the knowledge of which reefs to sheepshead fish for the monster 9-10 pounders is a mystery to many.
