Its very obvious it is designed for the male homosexual american market. This motorcycle would not sell in other countries. Its probably reliable because Honda built it, and considering american men don't know about anything mechanical things, it will sell in the states. For a chopper its nice. For heterosexual men, it totally misses the point of fun sporty motorcycle riding. I can see a 400 pound homosexual yank riding to McDonald's with his boyfriend on the back.

@211Alucard I heard awhile back that there was some problem with cooling. Do not know if that is true are not.

@boomerhgt why? there is no reason for that much power unless your fat as hell. sure its cool to be able to accelerate fast but a 1300 is plenty! what they should do is put a smaller engine in it and make it even more affordable. I have an 883 sportster and i dont need or want any more power than that. im trying to ride and enjoy myself not show off how big my engine is... or die for that matter.

its all about the ride baby. very nice bike, and yes i would own and ride the shit out of this bike. i have been riding all my life, and the worst bike i ever owned was one that wouldnt start when i wanted to ride. so get out there and just ride. shit, i would rip and ride a minibike if its all i had.

I agree with boomerhgt@ they should of use the 1800cc or even bigger.

@slash206 slash you hit the nail on the head.I went to the harley shop looked at some softtail's with the final price of everything the bike was about 5g's more then the Fury.
I went with the Fury and I love this bike it doesn't feel like you're riding a "Jap" bike but more like something from OCC.every one that come's up to see it say's how sweet it is.I made the right choice if you don't like the bike...well I don't know just GO fuck yourself.
Ive ridin for 40 years Harleys and Hondas I perfer My Hondas and have the utmost respect for Harley Davidson as a corporation its too bad they have to put up with idots like u in their costomer base ,that is if you even own a bike

It's not WHAT you ride, it's IF you ride. I work at a Harley dealer, and I've ridden all the new Harleys, as well as a good number of metric bikes. (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Triumph, BMW.) They all have their purpose, and each is a good fit for a different rider. I don't need a name on a tank to tell me I'm enjoying riding a motorcycle. Spend more time riding and less pointing your finger and trash talking. You'll be happier.
