Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist Plainfield Township Station 36 at a commercial structure fire on Bangor Road at Nicos Polymers. Tender 5331 responded at 05:30 and hauled 41 loads of water during the incident. Fire Police from station 53 assisted later in the day. Engine 5311 was requested just before 1800 to assist with overhaul and to extinguish remaining hot-spots. Station 53 units cleared at 02:30.

  • I'm glad we don't have anything like this in our area. If we did, I think we would have asked them to put in a retentions pond for a water supply.  Evidently the company had a poor safety consultant.

  • Yo idk how many of these coments are firefighters but I am and it was a pain in a ass to fight this ther was over 100 tenders and 8 counties pike was ther to with is past monorow

  • To the guy who asked how many other tenders were there.. There were apprx 100 different dept from 7 counties!! The majority of them operated from the beginning to end
