This is my cavalier that Perfidelis cavaliers were mating up i was there when poppy was been covered by romeo for the 1st attempt and believe me i had no problems with the muzzle been used as poppy would have definately had a bite of the lady in charge.

Whoa... WHY does she have a muzzle on? That's messed up.

lol there is not just a risk of me being bitten but because the bitches are near the stud dogs face they can also bite the face of the dog or the eyes. It is for myself and the two dogs involved that sometimes a muzzle is used. Once the dog has settled down during the mating process which can last up to 45 minutes the muzzle is removed. I never use a muzzle unless absolutely necessary.

Your obviously not up on the mating process especially when its a bitches first time, they can BITE as I have been bitten many times when I am using Romeo to be mated with visiting bitches and by my own bitches unless I have a muzzle to hand.
