@GogetaSSJ10 I remember seeing a George Lucas interview in the 'special features' of episode 3 where he talks about this side of Darth Vadar. Apparently he meant Vadar to go through this experience as part of the main story arc. He mentioned that people instead just saw the big dude in the black plastic sort of thing. I think it's one of the main reasons he did the second round of movies. He wanted to set his life project right after feeling it had been miss-understood.

@ZBone12 it's from the Return of the Jedi Soundtrack the song is called The Emperor
-
What song is playing?
-
that was cheesy
-
Sith lords always underestimate the power of compassion and love.
-
Ironic that this portion will end up in the newest cut.
-
honestly, i like this much better than that corny "NOOO"
-
@Jedite05 It was the only way to get Vader to turn back to the light I suppose. Yoda thinks many moves ahead like a master of chess.

I'm such a Star Wars nerd but I don't care. 1:30 still gives me chills every time.

Sorry- while the edit does look very, very good, it takes away from the inner conflict that's perceived as Vader looks on. The driving force (no pun intended) here is whether Vader would intervene or not which leaves you on the edge of your seat. The flashbacks reveal too much which direction he's leaning. In the original you never knew what he would do until he acted which built up the drama of the scene.
Did you use AE for this? Just curious.

"CommonSense8102" ... you have a very good point with the obi-wan suggestion... But DAMN "MortenTrailerGuy"... OUTSTANDING WORK!!!! I am truly amazed you were able to hold the might of this classic movie while integrating scenes from the new trilogy... Let me tell you, not a easy job... Sometimes people make wonderful jobs doing these kinds of edits, but somehow along the way they lose the true essence of the film or scene. You pulled off an incredible job! Thumbs WAY up!! :D
