If whoever made this video had actually read Hardin's Tragedy of the Commons, they would know that he was trying to argue that freedom to breed is a commons that should be restricted. The environment, free parking, the actual commons w/ cattle etc., are just examples. The issue is overpopulation, not environmental sustainability.
@quoththeraven777 If it works on some occasions than it's better then if it works on no occasions. It would be fairly impractical every farmer to own 1 square meter of foraging ground.
@ShwangShwing akevinbaynes is correct. This is showing what happens to resources when owned by a group or a coalition. If people own a piece of the commons, they are more likely to factor in costs of maintaining the land and keeping it nice and fruitful.
