The biggest enemy of the Jews are the Satmar and other 'black hat' "authentic" verifiable Jews - because they hate Israel and worship Ahmadinejad of Iran. We don't need any veriable authentic Jews like that. While we are all God's children, some kids we don't want to have ANYTHING to do with. These Jews of Chicago, and the Jews of China and Uganda and Nigeria and Ethiopia and everyplace else, offer welcome diversity and support to Israel and cross-cultural bonding and strengthening of Jewry.

No matter how much you ritualize worship no two people or more will have the same concept of G-d. Our fingerprints are different from each other so are our concepts of a higher power. Impractical zeal of interpretations, similar to a few comments posted here, have caused many divides within the Judaic faiths. We've forgotten G-d see each of us as different, and we all will travel different roads to seek spiritual refinement. Man, always attempting to categorize G-d's path for others?

I'm an American of Ethiopian descent living in Germany and attend synogogue here. My ancestors are mixed between Beta-Israel (Falashas) and Eastern European Ashkenasi Jews. Talk about being stuck in the middle. I'm questioned by those in and outside of my faith, who find it hard to believe I'm matrilineal and patrilineal Hebrew or Jewish, and can't get past their own subliminal visual pre-programming. I've learned to keep my faith as private as I keep my bank account. Divide and conquer us.
