Everyone is playing spy because newbies don't know how to deal with spies. (Something they really should cover in the tutorial - including dead ringers and eternal reward knives.)

Yes, it seemed this way at first to me for some reason.
I never realized that the spy himself seems to run a bit faster then the "regular" speed.

@mattbru2 Yu don't get faster while disguised, but you can go slower to match the speed of the class you are disguised at.

While cloaked, you move at normal spy speed.
Being disguised as a scout does not make you move faster. Ever.
