If the man stole something, how come both of his attackers are using the "gay panic" defense. Tell me, what did Matthew Shepard steal from the men who beat him to death. A few years ago my best friend - a multimillionaire who doesn't steal or try to come on to people in public - was fololwed from a gay bar by two men who dragged him into a parking garage and stomped him nearly to death.
