@lmfviolet78 yes, they are. There were also illustrations for each movement, done in high art-deco style, by Charles Martin. Dover publishes a fairly inexpensive reprint, although the drawings are, alas, in B&W

are these scores pictures of Satie's actual originals? they're kind of beautiful. It makes me wish I'd taken French. he writes the most interesting musical directions

The more I listen to these pieces, the better I like them. The score is probably hard to read, and it would take a lot of listening to get in into the patterns and rhythms. Thanks for posting something that sounds so new and refreshing even though written a long time ago.

Thankyou for introducing me to these typically eccentric yet attractive miniatures. It can be said that in these pieces - as in others by Satie - words and music meet in a unique way. It's good to hear Ciccolini again.
