  • On classic rock radio they play the same songs over and over. There are so many songs, like this one or Remember by Greg Kihn, or Look into the Future by pre Steve Perry Journey that are just as good as the songs that are played all the time, but they will never be heard by future generations because the playlists on these classic radio stations are so stuck on the hits.

  • I always have this song in my head when I have times of trouble. Makes it ok.

  • Ronnie Montrose (November 29, 1947 – March 3, 2012) was an American rock guitarist who led a number of his own bands as well as performed and did session work with a variety of musicians, including Sammy Hagar, Herbie Hancock, Van Morrison, The Beau Brummels, Boz Scaggs, Beaver & Krause, Gary Wright, Tony Williams, The Neville Brothers, Dan Hartman, Edgar Winter, and Johnny Winter.

  • another sad moment in music history.

I grew up with Ronnie's music.. R.I.P Ronnie.

  • another part of our childhood is gone.. R.I.P. Ronnie

  • I've just heard that Ronnie Montrose died today. From the sound of things, he suffered for some time. You played well, Ronnie Montrose. Rest in Peace now!

  • Best cover version ever by anyone way better than the stones original ( and i'm a stones fan), Thanks Ronnie & Sammy Hagar, listened to you back in the 70's all the time,Sad to hear your gone Ronnie :-(

  • Beautiful song. Such a damn shame he's gone.

  • i'm a hugh stones fan but this version is much better... rip ronnie!

  • I'm thankful that we have social networks like Facebook out there because that's how I found out about Ronnie's death.

  • A deep cut. You'd have to be cruising way up north California to hear this on the radio!
