wow! ive never been so confused in my life

For me the jazz perspective is easier to grasp, even though there is a lot of overlap between classical and jazz music.
Barry Harris is a fantastic teacher
Walter Piston is a hard read so is Vincent Persichetti Twentieth Centruy Harmony

Yes I have this book too
I recommend
Drop 2 Voicing book by Randy Vincent,
Ted Greens Modern Chord Progressions
Mick Goodrick's Voice Leading Books
The Barry Harris Harmonic Method for Guitar - Allan Kingstone
(Which overlaps Randy Vincent book a bit -- but both are good)
Bert Ligon is very good too
Also Joe Diorio books even though he does not explain everything
You have to use drop 2 voicing for guitar

Blues = Basics for almost everything :)

Voice leading applies to every type of chord sequence. You read about it in traditional harmony books, or check out 'Mr. Goodchord's Almanac of Guitar Voice-Leading
for the Year 2001 and Beyond' by Mick Goodrick. Thanks for watching and good luck!

Someone really needs to write an article on this! I mean, I have Harmony 5E by Walter Piston and it's really confusing trying to apply this to guitar. However, looking online is very disheartening, as there is nothing! Billions of articles on modes, nothing on harmony :(

Thank you for your comment, there is a written intro lesson about that goes with this video in my website. I am sure I will do more on the topic, so keep an eye on my channel!
