U.S. missile defence threatens Russia?

A number of U.S. scientists are concerned that the missile defence shield which the U.S. is planning to deploy in Eastern Europe, may pose a danger to Russia's nuclear arsenal. The U.S. Missile Defence Agency denies the claims.

These missile defence are told to the public that these are use to defend from the threats came from countries like Iran. How can you tell that there are not other purposes in it? Perhaps you had forgotten what happen in Cuba missiles crisis? Perhaps Soviets should remain their missiles there after all.
