Ruins of Mental Hospital pt 2

I went exploring and found Western State Hospital... the old one that lays in ruins... I'm not sure why they didn't just demolish the entire thing. It's located in Lakewood, WA. There is a new mental hospital nearby also named Western State Hospital.

Check out my channel. I just did my daily vlog from the "ruins". They finished tearing it down.  However, it's kind of funny that the same stairs that you went up that went to "nothing" now go to something. I also took pics of the outbuildings and graveyard.

@NICC253 they tore it down cause it was dangerous and it was a liability to the city of lakewood and it was originally tore down and left like that for firefighter search and rescue drill area. the hillward was a dormfor the patients that worked on the farm which is what we now call ft. steilacoom park! i know cause im an MHT at western state

actually it's totally gone now, with exception of a memorial area... which i also recorded. and no i don't live in the memorial... i have my own apartment lol, which is about 20 mins away

some buidlings are meant to be destroyed whereas some should of been preserved like Danvers State Hospital
