  • I'm 34 years old--but thankfully I grew up w/ older parents who had great taste in music. I use to play by my mom's cabinet stereo listening to mitch miller's greatest hits album. Bright Red Columbia record lol. I dug it out tonight to research the songs I remember from my childhood. The kids of today don't know what they're missing out on and I love my parents for educating me early on w/ great talent such as this here.

  • Maybe NBC needs to try this at 10:30 pm Eastern.

  • Where are people like Ray Coniff, Alan Copeland, Roger Wagner, and Mitch Miller today, when people like me need them? (I know, a few of them are in heaven).

    Merry Christmas.

  • Johnny Carson is goofing off and making faces. Mitch is always turning 'round. ("Be Kind to Your Web-Footed Friends!") Bob McGrath was always a welcome face on "Sesame Street."

  • Johnny Carson and the dude from Sesame Street (Bob McGrath).

  • Johnny Carson and the dude from Sesame Street are in this.

  • If you mean the song with the credits going it's called sing along.

  • @musicom67 yup, it is, and I know. Im old :o)

  • singing songs together is good for people it bonds them.and these songs are made for just that.

  • This show was filmed not videotaped, it was done in kinescope form in black & white, not color. Too bad, it doesn't have the NBC "Snake" logo at the end.

  • live entertainment TV shows, like "Sing along with Mitch" were frequently shown on TV during the 1960s.you's probably just about never see live entertainment TV shows, like "The Midnight Special","The Porter Wagoner Show","Sing along with Mitch","The Jackie Gleason Show","The Carol Burnett Show","The Dean martin Show""Hee-Haw",etc..,on broadcast TV,nowadays.oh well.who knows?they just might be on cable TV channesls like BYU-TV,RFD-TV,Arts & Entertainment TV,etc..!
