West Coast Main Line - Northbound 11Apr08

On the 11th April 2008, I filmed this using my mobile phone coming back from London.

Firstly we see London Euston, then all the engineering going on at Milton Keynes as the track is prepared for the increased capacity. Then we go through Rugby at 40mph due to a speed restriction for the ongoing engineering works at the time, to increase the line speed to 125mph.

A quick glance at Nuneaton and overtaking an Arriva Cross Country Voyager just north of Stafford finishes the video off.

Please excuse the guy in front who is having a conversation with his father about been picked up from Crewe. He didn't know whether we had just departed Stafford or Stratford - I mean, its an easy mistake to make! NOT.
