has anyone heard of these breaking down? im debating whether to get one of these or a 6505+ obviously this has more features but im wondering if it'll hold up as well.

have to agree, just spent about 15 minutes at GC with it today, it really blew me away. Especially when A/Bing it with the big wigs of high gain (duel rec, 6505 ect)

This amp isn't flubby at all, it's got a very tight gain if you set the amp right. One of the best amps I've played

This demo does the amp absolutely no justice. The mic position is not capturing the VERY full and fat sound this amp puts out. Don't judge this amp on this demo alone. Go try one and you'll probably be surprised.

Probably not the best amp for djent. It's got a "slightly" flubby low end. You'd want an overdrive driving to front to tighten things up to get the best metal sound.

i have this head, awesome,,,went from the renegade to this,,,,{which i loved as well} this is a gem amp,,,trust me,,,,,but i bought a boutique{vin 30} cab,,,,,not the eggy cab,,,which was not as superior to the rivera cab

What kind of TONE difference will I hear between the Vengeance 4x12 and the Tourmaster 2x12 with Elite 80's?

I've had this amp since it came out, it has a beautiful clean and awesome distortion. This amp can achieve almost any sound u can Think of with the wide range the tweaking the tone knobs allow along with the switches also.
