@LemoNeeGee Island Def Jam and Interscope are both under Universal, they're responsible for promotional budgets etc.Island Def Jam really fucked Mariah over especially after E=MC2 they started treating her like shit especially after she cancelled the E=MC2 tour due to miscarriage (record labels make significant profit from their artists touring). Lady Gaga is played on every fucking radio station and every music channel, apart from Youtube I never hear Mariah anywhere.

I've been listening to her since the mid 1990's, when her singing career was at its pinnacle. And I'm amazed that she still has a great voice!

And Tony Bennett's voice is like caramel, so smooth and rich. :-)

The whisper register can tend to make you think Mariah's voice has deteriorated. But its a choice to sing in that style, a style I am 50/50 about. I love her more strong voice but somewhere from Charmbracelet on its kind of gotten lost somewhere between..
