@texacobigred42: 15+8=23. Like 15 (Waltrip) + 8 (Earnhardt Jr.) = 23!!! Like in the old days of DEI-dominated restrictor plate races!!!

@GotRiceBish THe team folded in July, but then Ganassi brought the #40 back for a couple more attempts at Charlotte, Atlanta, and Texas in the fall, with development driver Bryan Clausen, but Clausen was rained out of the first two attempts (rain, rain, go away...) and when he did finally get to qualify at Texas with the rest of the field, he hit the wall hard and didn't make that race either. Then Ganassi merged with DEI at the end of 2008, which spelled the end of the #01, #15, and #40 teams.

#23? I don't remember DEI fielding a #23 car. When was that? I remember #1, #01 (from the former Ginn Racing), #8, #15, and even a #81, but no #23...

Hey nadeau1064 I was wondering for Chicago if you could have the ABC's Nascar starting lineup music.
Hey nadeau1064, my name is GotRiceBish how do you say about Dario Franchitti's #40 being shut down? Did you say Coors Light left at the end of the 2007 season?

Welcome, GRB! Yeah, unfortunately Coors Light left Franchitti's #40 team to take over for Budweiser as the pole award sponsor. Ganassi didn't have another sponsor lined up, so Franchitti struggled with funding until the team folded up. Sorry it took so long getting back to you!
