Freddy Meyer Collapses on Ice - Full Incident (HD Multiview)

The sight of Atlanta Thrashers goalie Ondrej Pavelec collapsing in his crease on opening night, and then being stretchered off the ice, was as disturbing as it was unforgettable.

Thus, it was difficult not to think back to that moment in watching Freddy Meyer of the Thrashers collapse at center ice in the team's Thursday night game vs. the Calgary Flames.

Meyer will be re-evaluated Friday. He reported that he was not suffering from a headache, a sign of a possible concussion. Scary scene, and hopefully Meyer checks out OK.

@fijiankilla He stumbled, you can't stop the game for player stumbling. When they saw he wasn't moving they stopped the game, what more could you want?
