André Watts playing the Ossia Finale to Rach 3 3rd Movement. How it's meant to be played ;) Here Rachmaninoff substitutes quater note triplets with regualar eighth notes.

We are lucky to have him. I wish Watts would record EVERYTHING. He is a gift to Mankind.

Wow thanks for showing me this, I had no clue anyone played the Ossia for the ending.

Just heard Alexander Korsantia play this ossia version last Saturday. Resulted in a standing ovation. I completely think this is the better version.

@solveaproblem she doesnt play this version, listen carefully at the end she only plays quarter note triplets throughout the ending of the finale

it´s so weird that rachmaninoff didn´t do this ossia in the finale but he play the ossia of the first movement, maybe he had his reasons or he could not play it?.

As much as I'd love to, I feel it'd be a bit unfair as it's © and all the rest.
