@voxsoundpro no, that was guitar was named "scotch" because of its butterscotch color. It had three pickups. This is a pure yellow strat with only one pickup, the neck pickup. It was stolen from stevie around 1983 or 84.

@elcottonball Maybe we're speaking of a different strat here but SRV used to have a blonde one just like that which neck was used to replace Number one' neck after it was broken in a strange accident shortly before Stevie died

You know after 21 years since Stevie left this world it's like a two way door watching this. It's unbelievable to watch him today and remember how great he was - so much better than anyone else, but it still breaks me heart that he's no longer with us. There have been so many guys who have tried to be Stevie since, but no one has come close, and nobody ever will. Well, at least God has the greatest guitar player of all time in his band up there.
