A custom hydroformed downtube, first-ever tapered headtube, and 5.5" of Niner's award-winning Constantly Varying Arc suspension technology make the W.F.O. (for Wide. Full. Open.) one-of-a-kind in 29er bikes.

To explain some of its key features, Steve Domahidy, design engineer for Niner Bikes, took Speedgoat underneath the Niner bigtop at the Sea Otter Classic for a detailed look at Niner's latest offering.

  • W.F.O. doesn't stand for Wide Full Open, silly boys. Love my WFO!

  • I test rode this bike and I am 6ft 6in tall and around 240. With the Hammerschmidt crankset it ROCKS and this bike is superb on any terrain that is well within my capacity . I would love to ride the CDR on this bike!! Way to go Niner keep inspiring us!! =)

  • Also not mentioned is 150mm rear spacing option and 12mm MAXLE for ultimate stiffness on both 135mm and 150mm rear end spacings.
