  • we play this but a bit slower and maybe a lot better. so watch our town preform it!

  • that version isnt too good, it was just sort of play and leave, i have another copy (i wanna get a video for it) thats alot better than that one

  • Okay, I got a question for you...

    What's your instrumentation?

and What kind of Bari are you playing and how old is it??? kinda of looks like a 1960s vintage sax i played once :)

  • i havent tryed a jazz mouth piece, but its a Conn bari (silver) im not sure what year or model, we also have 2 Yamaha YBS-52 baris, only one is played in jazz band.

  • Pita! You guys are amazing! Love you and miss you all! <3

  • Does anybody know the name of the song the band plays when the bball team step on the court? At least, they played bout 10 years ago, when I went there...

  • I'm sorry but I have to aggree with olini616. The Bari solo did not go with the song at all. I'm a Bari player myself and I know we get left out a little with the parts as it is usually bass parts we play so an oppertunity for a solo is a massive thing but it didn't go with the song though. That's my only criticism. The alto solo was awesome! Well done!

  • what is the instument called that it looks like a trombone buthas pistons like a trumpet

  • valve trombone...nice!

  • Is this Gordon Goodwin's version?

  • no need for two baris...also the bari solo does not go at all with the song and should have been given to and alto or tenor in stead...its was ok i guess

  • I like a full band version. But it's a tad on the quick side.

And with a song like this, you can't replace the vocals, maybe with other songs, but this song i think really should have a vocal.

  • o ok, actually i was just watching our 2 bands carefully and the tempo is about the same.

  • I checked out your performance to compare tempos, and the tempos are only slightly different (ours being faster, because it's at a basketball game and they complain if the songs aren't fast and 'exciting'). The arrangements, however, are quite different, and yours sounds a bit simpler(no offense meant).

Sound quality on this is bad (digi cam recording), and our space was actually in a gym. Our jazz band is also really unbalanced, with so few brass and too many winds.
