This part is for a 1 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch class I and II receivers and the trailer lock fits lever style couplers with a 1/2 inch span. We'll show you the operation of the locks, it's pretty easy you flip open the rubber cap and you take the key. You twist using the key or you can hold the other side and it comes apart like so. Both units work the same way. We'll show you how they look installed. Here we have our common 1 1/4 inch receiver hitch and simply the bolt just goes through the other side, you put the lock on and twist it together as far as it will go and back off a half or quarter turn and the key comes out.
