I had an ole 640 T'nt barn find,it was on pallets and covered up,my greatuncle stored it right, sled was mint,but never really hooked up with the puueny track lug height haha. I regret selling it

I had a 640 tnt i bought from a farmer for $75 he used to race it and he gave me the header pipes with it,back then i didnt like them because of no foot room,the sled would sing to me when it was whistling at around 78mph,i hait a jump broke the chain and sold it for $100,35 yrs later and i still wished i had it

@jack9102 It won't be that bad. Only gonna use it for dragracing so only straight ahead on flat surface. It will survive :)

what kind of pipes are them im restoring a 72 tnt 440 and a set of them would be nice

@MidwestMadness775 They are original so called "640/775 mod pipes" from the early 70s. The ones I have are actually for a 72 TNT and don't fit perfectly on my 71 but close enough. On 72s there's more clearance and they will fit better. Actually both pipes are supposed to go underneath the steering shaft but I just couldn't get that to fit so one went above it instead.
I found them on ebay, ended up being pricey because they are pretty rare, but they were worth the money :)
