i must admit, (being a huge yuri bashmet fan) he didn't perform to his best here...but seriously, his cds are amazing! much better than laurence power could ever hope to be. but i respect your opinion :)

Way better then Vengerov -Power. I think Bashmet has problems with his instrument. Sounds very mute. This is not the best performance I've heard of this piece but very proper and logical. Interesting to listen.

THIS BRING ME BACK TO THE BEST DAYS WHEN I WAS STUDING WHIT A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND A SOLOIST VIOLIST, IN MY BEGINING AS A VIOLIST, BUT NOW ALL IT'S A SHIT AND I HAVE NEW PROBLEMS PLAYING VIOLA THAT BEFORE I DIDN'T HAVE, thanks to the violinists that dare to teach viola, thinking that it is the same.
