This is a bit of an evolution of the muscle up; starting from beginner form and working up to a clean muscle up.

Hopefully this will help you improve your form. Find the MU that matches your current form and then try the next one up.

  • Hey man, just a brief thought! Is it ment to be 1 set or 2/3 for each of these exercises??

    Thanks!

  • @Korvtele Hey. Rather than a full workout, this is more to find which level you're at and them aim for the next one!

  • Thanks for the comments everybody! The tattoos are just below my abs so it only covers the bottom abs a tiny bit; I made sure they didn't cover too much haha.I think they just look stretched when I'm at full extension.

  • In my opinion, there's a very big difference between stage 1 (one elbow at a time) and stage 2 (both elbows at the same time). Getting both elbows at the same time over the transition phase requires a whole lot of explosive strength, which takes time to build. You've shown how to build explosiveness in your previous videos, so people can take a look there, too. I'm struggling to achieve the explosive pull now, not easy at all. Great video, great form as always. Thank you!

  • @djaponezu63 I 100% agree with this. I'm going to do a video soon that'll help people to make that jump.

  • @f00k321 Your friend is silly, you're 17, which is pretty much the best time in your life for training. You recover faster, adapt more easily, and you'll make gains quickly. You'd have to really overdo it to damage your tendons.

  • Good video I'll be doing muscle ups soon. Check my video on me doing starter pullups

  • Is this OK... dont you use too much of the momentum???

  • awesome, this is some good training

  • grat video...how tall you are?

  • wow thanks dude. For a contest I did 35 pull ups (down position when elbows at 90 degrees, so its easier, but no kipping) But I couldnt for the love of me do a single muscle up. After watching this video I was able to do 8 no kick knee up muscle ups (2:00). Thanks for the tutorial! BTW can this be made as a legit work out? or more of a show off thing?

  • those tatto´s r freakin cool man

  • Name of the song, reply my post please.

  • Good job! I am a girl! I am just working on my pull ups!
