Socialism (which is part of Nazism's full name) is communism. Even several communist leaders admitted to this.

Oh yeah, there are similarities, Govt control etc. But they were also very different. The fascism that Nazism was about nationalism and racial purity. It wasn't about class destruction but about national control.

And, for the purposes of this discussion the Vatican was against communism cos it was atheistic while Nazism was no such thing. Many elements in the Vatican and other political powers favoured Nazism as it was avidly anti-communist.

The Nazi Party otherwise known as The National Socialist German Workers' Party did stand for, in ideology, similar things that Communist stood for. Now Communism and Nazism are two different things in ideology, but in reality, when you give people in government that much power, they are nothing like they were in theory, all big government ideologies are the same in reality because when you give people that much power and control, the whole system becomes corrupt.
