HOW TO SET UP MIDI & AUDIO INTERFACE!!!

you need to set the AUDIO OUTPUT of your mpc into "MONO MODE" simply follow this instruction from your mpc tap MODE then "PAD 8 MIXER" then if you have like kick from pad 1 snare pad 2 clap pad 3 hat pad 4 what you need to do is tap each pad and set up each L/PAN & L/OUT like this

1.
Tap "PAD1 kick" press L/OUT then from the upper part you will see "ST" it means you're in a STEREO MODE but you need the MONO MODE so turn the DATA WHEEL you should see "12" and "34" but you need to set this to "12" then click L/PAN from the upper part you will see 16 knobs, again tap "PAD1 kick" then click arrow up make sure you high lighted the knob for pad1 then turn the DATA WHEEL to the left now the kick drum should play
2.
Tap "PAD2 Snare" press L/OUT then from the upper part you will see "ST" it means your in a "STEREO MODE" but you need the MONO MODE so turn the DATA WHEEL you should see "12" and "34" but you need to set this to "34" then click L/PAN from the upper part you will see 16 knobs, again tap "PAD2 Snare" then click arrow up make sure you high lighted the knob for PAD2 then turn the DATA WHEEL to the "RIGHT" now the snare drum should play

repeat this procedures to each instruments

MIDI OUT from motif should go to MIDI IN of mpc
MIDI OUT from mpc should go to MIDI IN of motif
AUDIO OUTPUT of motif should go to your mixer or MIDI & AUDIO interface the same as your mpc.8 audio input is a must!!!
