Linux version of Google Chrome hasn't yet been officially released, therefore, additional plug-ins such as Flash hasn't been enabled on default. I'll show you how to enable adobe flash on Google Chrome.
Command (paste it in Terminal):
sudo mkdir /opt/google/chrome/plugins
sudo cp /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so /opt/google/chrome/plugins
Shortcut Command:
/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --enable-plugins %U
Great job, but its only for GNOME users, maybe more terminal can be good? ;)

well, since ubuntu is the most popular distro, running GNOME. I think it's better to focus on this particular distro instead of showing lots of many different ways of doing it on many other distros. In fact, gnome is my specialty.
