Ball Point Pen Rocket

This is a rocket I made in about 30 minutes this sunday afternoon. The rocket is constructed of a ball point pen (ink tube removed), Micro Maxx Rocket (small rockets availiable at anywhere like walmart), and some posterboard for the fins. I used a bottle rocket fuse for the ignition system because I didnt feel like fooling with the electronic ignition.

It's not as inovative as it seems. It is nothing more than a miniture hobby rocket "engine" and common aeronotical science knowledge.

No. It didnt. The sad thing is that I rigged it up again and shot it a few days later. It was a much better flight, but I didnt film it that time.

i make those all the time. i use lego pices that are shaped like rocket fins, as rocket fins, and i just stuff the engine and friction fit it in the pen and they dont have enough thrust to fly out the pen. so no motor block is needed. you can make some crazy rocket lol.
