it would be useful to have stats which I know can only really guesstimate, but stating of how many deaths there are relative to the number of people taking the different drugs every year... I think that would be a lot more hard hitting, as peoples arguments against it are shit like 'well there ain't anyone taking mushrooms since they were banned' n all that crap. Since I took shrooms my levels of empathy have risen exponentially. A definite positive force for the world! xx

@winstonmatthews - you could slip up on some (if it was, say, moist...)

Great video, yet may I mention here, that No deaths from cannabis ever!
Dr. Brenneisen said that the data of the toxicological analysis of Lee Maisey collected by autopsy were "scanty and not conclusive" and that the conclusion "death by cannabis intoxication" was "not legitimate."

Damn government and the moronic Alan Johnson don't possess the ability to simply LISTEN TO THE SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE. It worries me that the government refuses to listen to the professional scientific opinion on drugs, especially cannabis... damn Labour, can't get anything right can they?

Freaking Government are a bunch of donkies with their propaganda. They said in an documentary that exstacy causes loss in spinal fluid and chance of parkinson disease? Give me a break. Pretty soon, no ones going to trust the government.
Nice sound dude...

The first, and simplest, guitar bit is mine - I reckon it sounds a bit like early Cult.

That poor professor. Alan Johnson should give an apology at the very least.

Well, Prof Nutt didn't seem too put out on clips I have seen of him. Maybe he is in a better position now to facilitate the flow of objective information...

A regulated and licensed distribution network would put responsible adult supervision in between children and premature access to drug distribution outlets. Regulated and licensed distribution would reflect and respect society's values, thus preventing children obtaining easy access to theses dangerous substances. What we need is legalised regulation. What we have is a non-regulated black market to which everybody has access and where all the profits go to organised crime and terrorists..

I think the first step is to un-demonise drug use. Cannabis and ecstasy use, for example, are still seen as immoral and 'bad'. Thus pleasurable alterations to consciousness are treated with suspicion. Unless alcohol is involved in which case it is accepted and not seen as 'dodgy' or immoral.
