  • @324wilson It's the last wedding she really got dressed up for. She should've wore something similar @ Kate and Williams wedding.

  • @adam4757 True. Same can be said about last week's wedding of Prince William.

  • @324wilson The Queen always looks beautiful. I actually think she's got more stylish as she's got older.

  • Do I think Diana would've loved a small wedding as this? HELL YES, do I think the Queen would let it happen? HELL NOOOOOOOOOOO..... Do you really think a shy person like Princess Di would've wanted all those people around? Also, she would've probably opted for a much smaller cathedral, who knows....however, she isn't a mistake, she turned that Palace around and really drilled what's right in their heads, that this country can definitely be thankful for....

  • sophie has turned out to be one of the familys best assets

  • The Queen mum looks like she has a good sense of humor. Don't know why but I see that in her lol

  • Seriously, Diana and Charles married in 1981 (18 years earlier) and Sarah and Andrew married in 1986 (13 years earlier). Obviously fashioned evolved a lot over those years. Sophie's dress would have been considered a major disappointment in 1981 or 1986 but it was elegant and classic for the time when she married. Likewise, Diana and Sarah's gowns were appropriate for the time but would have seemed ridiculous in 1999.

  • does the queen ever smile

  • Henry the VIII is buried in this chapel. There is a simple memorial plaque to note this. When I visited I expected he would have something larger than life, just as he was, but it's just a floor plaque (they walk over it when they go past the choir).
