  • @AppleSouffle No, this isn't odd at all. It is not meant to be literally about a teacher and school, but rather about the expression "don't carry tales out of school", using the metaphor of school to carry the message. Like the expression, "I don't kiss and tell", this expression was a very popular one when you did something and you didn't want to share, as in "I don't carry tales out of school." That is to say, "This is not your concern. Mind your own business, and I'll mind mine!" :)
