  • @cityflyguy You can put Ubuntu onto a USB stick and run it with internet browser with flash meaning you can use BBC iPlayer, all this runs off the usb and leaves to original firmware

  • I want to see what video playback is like, i.e full screen or? yet nooooo you press "video" and have no clips loaded. GJ, your review fails to cover the basics....*^$^*$^$

  • It needs intenret browser and a free tv streaming service like TV catchup. Possibly iPlayer, 4 OD, ITV player etc. If it gets all these things then it really would be an awesome device for the bed side table, kitchen, dining table or desktop companion. Already for 49 quid its pretty good for the radio, photo, video, mp3 streaming features and with a cheap little 2.1 speaker system plugged into it would make a great little home audio system.

  • Its not ment to be portable. If you want a portable calander, get a diary

  • Can i put XP on it?

  • seen it all before

  • I like it! The emergence of "bite size" information consumption while organising the modern family on the go. Does anyone know when these will be available?

  • if it was a4 size it would be too expensive to run and not portable enough..........

  • Wayyyyy too small to even consider using it as a method of 'organising [my] life'. Once again, companies are focussing on trying to give their products the same form factor as something that is currently in the house so it doesn't look out of place.

Make it A4 size and wall mountable, however, then you have something. The tech side looks pretty sound; pity they just HAD to jump on the photo-frame size.
