  • No prob im jus tryna get to the bottom.of it myself!

  • @PunchOjr

I love the search, keeps an ole rabbi from burning out. take care friend.

  • @mandegi So you are a Rabbi! so tell me something why is Israel never mention in History books. I know the Bible has a verse where the Esau and Ishmael come together to take Israel out of remebereance but the only nation that was poppin in that area was Phonecia and Persia I think.

  • @PunchOjr

to my knowledge the oldest recorded mention of Israel outside of the Bible is the Merneptah Stele from ancient Egypt dating (1209 BCE – 1208 BCE). I hope this helps. Have a nice day friend.

  • Ok for some that cant see why he made this claim because there was a Pharoan name Ahmosis and Thuhtmosis ! If memeory serves me correct Ahmosis rose up from Upper Egypt takin back over lower Egypt from foreign invaders! One among these enemies where the Hyksos aka Shepard Kings also known as Haibiru some say these are the (Hebrews)! In contrast to the biblical story Thutmosis expell these Hyksos out of Egypt and put Generals up in Canaan land or in Africas Doorway!

  • Thuh was apart of the Akhnaten spiritualit which believd in one God which was Amun,Amon,Amen! More similiarities are the their was a split in nation too like Israel, Upper Egypt & Lower Egypt/House of Judah, House of Israel! Remeber Moses was in the Egyptian Mystery system and taught by Midian who was ethiopian in descendant where Egypt knowledge stem from! Even if this is just speculation Israel had as much as Hamite blood in them as Shemetic at the point the where call a Nation!

very nice observations thanks very much, and many of freud's ideas in this book are very valid even if they cannot be understood as historical because they delve into the psyche of peoples. but here I am more concerned with comparing Buber's view with freud's especially where the same texts are used and the thoughts can be compared.
