Like both types equally as a working dog but as my baby is just a pet I had to get a scruffy, beardy wirehaired. Just so damn gorgeous

I own a GSP an a GWP mix and she is awesome. She loves the snow and Hunting she especially hates ground hogs. She has mediumm lenght hair with a smooth tail and long beird.

I've been around both dogs a lot, both are great . . . I live in Idaho and have a GWP because I think they do better in the cold weather, and if you only get to own one fun machine I think the GWP is a more versatile hunter and generally nicer to live with the rest of the year. Both are great dogs for an active lifestyle - mountain biking, XC skiing, as well as hunting, they're both born to run like antelope and don't get overworked. Also GWP's are kinda . . . goofy, lighthearted which I like.

Dont care about the hair length/colour. For me its all about personality.

Every dog's a different match. For me the GSP is more of a match, suburbs, etc.
