I know someone with a 3rd degree black belt, and I'm still waiting to see him be polite.
He does, however, like to make people feel as if they need to step carefully around him.
I think he should watch this video.

Mr.Pecoraro, you have a total understanding of martial arts and what a black belt is. You had a great teacher and have learned well from him. I applaud you sir!

Hi! First of all, I want to thank you for uploading this video. As a Karate brown belt (working hard towards my blackbelt exam later this year), it really helps me with the mental aspects behind being a blackbelt. Something which I think often is being lost when some people talk about what it means to be a black belt. So, in short: thank you! :)

Ive always been interested in martial arts, and I used to do taekwondo and aikido, but ive always been more for the sort of martial arts that your acadamy does, who knows maybe ill come and visit your acadamy one day.
Nice video. Anyone who's stuck with martial arts for more than 2 months and has a halfway decent instructor will learn that martial arts is about discipline and not just about martial ability. It's actually quite interesting that the more skilled someone becomes in martial arts, the less likely they are to actually fight. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but for the most part, if you wanna brawl, well you can do that anywhere.
