8mm home movie of UA parade in 1969! The Moon Landing was big - hadn't happened yet - still two weeks away. My dad, Cy Wolske, is driving his brand new 1969 GTO (plate CY 69). I drove that car in high school and I still have it!! And yes I am one of those obnoxious Cub Scout Baseball Allstars on the sitting on the back of the GTO! Hello there, I was wondering if you affected by the severe thunderstorm that occurred later on that day. I wasn't alive yet, but I am really interested in weather and heard about the 1969 derecho across Northern Ohio.

Hey, I was there! In fact, I'm sure I once had a photo of that last float, "Wings of Glory", in my photo album. Thanks so much for posting these! I was missing Upper Arlington - wish I could be there for the parade tomorrow. What a lovely little walk down memory lane...although now I also miss being six years old!
