If he liked playing for a team with no tradition in a mediocre conference then Clemson would have been a good choice. However, most players like teams with both a good tradition and a noteworthy conference. Looks like he made the right choice in being a VFL. Go Vols!!

Tennessee fans are funny! The only reason Lane went to Tennessee is because clemson dropped him after he was charged with drug possession and distribution! when your at the the game look at Lanes right inner bicep... theres a tattoo of a tiger paw; he got it right after committing to clemson hahaha

@jboycep And you should see what Peyton Mannings done in the NFL the past 13 years. Clemson may have one losing season in 20 years but since 1991 Tennessee has had 2 SEC titles and 1 National Championship (something Clemons never had) and have a record of 169-72 Tennessee's all time win percentage is .690 while Clemsons is .591. Now with all that being said, I respect Clemson and they are a good football team, for the ACC,
