I was trout fishing and hooked into a HUGE Mt. Lassen Rainbow that was likely north of 10lbs. I was using 2lb test Izor line so the fish was able to pull drag until it was on the other side of the lake. Right when I finally got control of the fish you'll see a bird fly in from the left side of the lake and run into the line and got stuck. It was too much for the line and the line broke ...fish was gone.

Yucaipa Lake has been holding some monsters and that definitely was one of them! Middle and bottom lake have been the best so far. I was jigging some trout worms and caught a nice 4lb and 3lb last week. What were you using?
