Birdo is Male Proof Video

The simple truth is this: Birdo is a male-to-female transsexual. NOA is respective of this and refers to her as a "she;" NCL treats it as a joke. Whether or not she's pre- or post-op is not important.

This is a little video I made one day when I was bored. I didn't spend much time on it, so it is missing a few things, and I didn't do a very good job explaining the stuff from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. I mostly just created it to see what kind of reactions I'd get. I've been both amused and saddened by some of the comments.

Ostro
In the SMB2 manual, Birdo was labeled as "Ostro" and the ostrich enemy was labeled as "Birdo". The descriptions of each still mach that character, as the ostrich enemy doesn't spit eggs and the pink dinosaur doesn't transport Shy Guys.

Not necessarily. First off, Yoshi doesn't seem to be aware that Birdo is male. Secondly, Yoshi himself blurs the gender line, and is actually probably a hermaphrodite.

Sounds like Final Fight to me.

Poison from the Final Fight series was intended to be female, but because Capcom thought feminists would sue, Poison was changed to a male-to-female transgender.

Well in Japan it is simply more accepted to be transsexual/homosexual ect so they wouldn't have had a problem in Japan but in certain parts of the USA to have a transsexual character would have been big news and taken badly by a few parents. It's easier to just let unknowning parents think it's a girl and not complain about it than big a big fuss over it

And yoshi feels more male and acts male, maybe it is a male, (but i lays eggs wtf), i think miyamoto needs to say birdo is hermaphrodite. That will solve all the problems here on youtube and on the world. Anwser if you dont agree.
