This is inspired. I was born in Old Hill, and have been along Forge Lane hundreds of times probably. I think I've never been over the level crossing.

If you look across the crossing now you will se howells glazing, aka my grandads work, if you see walter say hi!

That happens where I live , gates go down and 3 or 4 minutes later train arrives

Why is crossing closed so long, at least 3.5 minutes, before train arrival?
To allow a high speed train to receive a signal and to slow and stop if the crossing is not clear after gates have lowered?
Why did you not turn off engine and save expensive fuel and pollution?
Rather than zoom in, move closer instead of partially blocking a lane.
Nice dash camera mount.

Lol, no wonder people want to go through the crossings when the lights are red.

If there was an Oscar category "Most boring film" this would be in with a good chance of taking it. If there was a category "Interesting Level Crossing videos" it wouldn't even get on the shortlist. Put the words "Life a Get" in the right order.

Hi rendton , the station is to the right of the crossing and the platform stops just short of the crossing so the approach of the train would be very slow unless it was straight through . However your correct about the length of time that the barriers come down they tend to be like this at crossings in the west midlands .
