@SupremeSanda wrong! There are other hotbeds of plastic surgery in the US its beverly hills, brazil is also high demand. There are dedicated clinics in Korea exclusively for medical tourists.

@MantaRayOfDoom Based on what source? I bet that info lumps procedures on foreign tourists with procedures on Koreans. I talked to Koreans and they tell me that there are clinics who are totally dedicated to foreign tourists in Korea.

Typical Korea bashing. Those that say Koreans have the highest plastic surgery rate are ignoring medical tourism. There are lots of japanese and chinese who go to korea for plastic surgery. The surgery rate is higher for Chinese in Taiwan and Japanese. Most of the mainland chinese can't even afford this so what's with all this nonsense that chinese don't like fake faces??? They can't afford it so any desire is rendered moot for mainland chinese.

@anytunes Wrong the Chinese who goes to Korea for surgery is miniscule. there is no Chinese surgery tourism to Korea, mainly Japanese and that in itself dwarfed by the rate of South Koreans themselves who do it.
