Hasely Crawford was an inspiration to a lot of youths in T&T when he won (including yours truly) in 1976 to run track, I remember we used to race each other pretending to be crawford, and this calypso is a classic from that time and yes clintmack28, I agree with you the "soca" they singing now is complete garbage, the kaisonians of yesteryear were poets to the highest degree, who could rhyme, sing something without saying it and put it in the correct context, their songs are timeless not so 2day
