Have you tried contacting social security regarding this. Your mother would be on social security most likely if she is still alive.

Most likely your mother was a white woman and your father was black . Your mom obviously didn't have any family to help her. One thing where you are lucky is that you are a twin. You could check all the twin babies born in New Jersey on the same day you were born and then begin to investigate from there. Let me know how your progress is going o.k. Good luck!
