  • My absolute favorite car of all time! I miss Pontiac.

  • what did that guy say............Obama destroyed GM? I think GM and its out of touch execs destroyed GM a long time ago.

  • Once Upon a Time, American auto makers built cars Americans wanted. Cars that inspired, cars with appeal, cars with power.

  • Hey have any of you all ever heard of the Treasy of the United States . Because you all are just pointing at everything but . 46 years of sending JOBS over seas yea you all have been ZZZZZZ SLEEPING ZZZZZZZ !

  • Unfortunately for those of us who like traditional cars, when GM said to the government, "we need financial help", the government said, "OK, but you have to do things our way". The gov't doesnt care about the cars we want to drive, they just care about them being transportation. GM could never make a profit on fuel efficient cars, so they never developed competitve ones. Due to the burden of their financial overhead, SUVs/trucks were a way to make a profit. Rising gas prices ruined it for them.

  • I don't know you could say Obama single handedly destroyed the US auto industry, but his actions, forcing GM to reorganize, did indeed lead to decisions that caused Pontiac Motor Division to be cut. Unfortunately, Pontiac was one of the only brands that offered new cars that I actually liked!! I havent bought a new car in years. GM was heading in a financially bad direction for a long time. The new cars are eco-b.s. though. Like they arent small enough or get good enough emissions already??

  • @skatepunkzero I couldnt have said it better myself. It's also pretty accurate. Post-1980, everything Chrysler made became front wheel drive (except for the Diplomat, Gran Fury, and Fifth Avenue)... there just wasn't anything desirable after that point in time except for those 3 cars.

  • @dumnuts1 You picked a good name for yourself.

  • @77hodag no asshat, obama DESTROYED the auto industry. there is pretty much nothing left of it. there is nothing that American car makers put out nowadays that isn't part of this eco bullshit. and you know who's fault it is that Pontiac is dead and GM is still alive? YOURS. you voted this fucktard in there. GM is dead. its a walking corperate zombie owned by the government. and we have you, the people who voted for Obama, to thank for it. you can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out.

  • @dumnuts1 Obama SAVED the U.S. auto industry, you twit! You got something against American cars?
