This is the first Youtube tutorial shows you how to mod a PS3 Slim stock fan to run at a MAXIMUM SPEED but, it's very very NOISY.

It prevents Yellow Light of Death aka YLOD and OVERHEATING issues.

On the Next Tutorial I'll show you how to change the fan speed along with noise using a PCB Controller!

Please be GENTLE on COMMENTS and your precious time for watching this video INSPIRES us to develop further and upload MORE TUTORIALS.

  • Maximum speed isn't always best. They create CPU's that generate less heat to avoid high speed fans for a reason. Blowing out dust very fast can sometimes damage hardware.....like compressed air does.

  • @Ragebull910

You're right... I've done many ps3s so far. nobody complaints that there ps3 have been burnt or whatsoever. and ps3 is not blowing any COMPRESSED AIR as there is no such component to compress the air on the mobo.

But you can use 100K/200k potentiometer to reduce the speed/control the speed. Any help just post send me a post

    Cheers

  • I have an idea to stop PS3 from overheating...

TO LIVE IN THE NORTH POLE!!!

plus we can see Santa Claus

  • @DaHeisman08

lol. gr8 idea. but one another problem. I saw the movie 30 days and nights. hope you did as well.

so, there you will be playing the newest version of RESIDENT EVIL 6 in reality.

Santa might come to your rescue! make sure have sufficient snickers chocolate with you. ;-)
