From my site: http://www.lookgreat-loseweight-savemoney.com/ This video explains how to take the long layer cut for longer hair, to the next level. (to create more layers) You can even try using this method for Emo style hair.

I was unsure about the results on this one. I have only had my hair cut this way one day, and already, I've had like 3 people tell me they liked my hair. Who knew! Please go to my site and get lots of great tips and advice! I need you! Carolyn

  • Tried it and I LOVED it! Thank you so much!

  • @HelloDaisyDukee95 So glad this worked so well for you too! XO Carolyn

  • I just got done cutting my hair with this technique, and it worked great! It looks just like the layers I normally get done at the salon and pay $60 for. Just to give you some history, I am 25 years old and am VERY particular about my hair and have been known to go back to a stylist to fix my hair if I don't like a style the first time. I have extremely thick hair with a heavy wave and if you take the time and do this technique right it works great!

  • @clwhittenburg That is so fantastic! You go girl! XO Carolyn

  • @rvmerriam I don't think this is stupid at all.... why all the negativity???? If she or anyone else wants to be self sufficient and cut their own hair they are very well allowed to do so. I have been cutting my own hair since high school and have always been pleased with the results. Just because its not YOUR way doesn't mean its the wrong way....

  • @rvmerriam I'm also a stylist and my stylist use to use this method on me because it works. Try it! You might also like it! And have a great day!

  • Thanks so much for this! I've spent forever trying to find the best way to layer my own hair; my old ones are growing out and I need some more volume but I don't want to waste my money at a hair salon! This so far seems to be my best bet, so I'm going to go try it. Thanks again :)

  • @kristena710 Well said!

  • @kristena710 If you can get your hair into a ponytail on top of your hair, you can cut layers. Read some of the comments below to find out how ladies are using this method to cut their hair using variations with the base cut. This cut works best on hair that's blunt cut with no layers but also works with existing layer cuts. Does this answer your question? Carolyn

  • this is great!!!!! Love the video! Think I could use this method for cutting my hair short? shoulder length or shorter?
